Ok this has been sitting in my drafts for the longest time and the high quality video that Mervyn so kind heartedly, encoded has became sorta stale by the time I got to hitting the “Publish” button. Anyhow da new arcade game indeed brings back tonnes of memories. I remember spending after school hours at the arcade just busy whacking buttons and I was so head over heels in lurve with *my hubby Akuma and his super Blackout special. (Oooh I hope he’s back!).
Anyway, from the Street Fighter IV screens they’ve released to date, the Famitsu crew has really outdone themselves this time with a unique art direction and I don’t know how else you can call it. . . 3D in 2D? Included in the “new” (now not so new) screens is a fresh face and several familar ones (except Akuma! Darn!).
Seems like Ryu buffed a tad.
Blanka – the Asian version of Incredible Hulk
Dhalsim high from mastering the last level of Yoga.
Zangief looked guilty enough to be caught in some act.
This is the newbie. Looks like a character from KOF if you ask me.
Chun-Li not only has manly legs; she’s got manly arms too!
Guile and his somersault kicks
Blanka in training for Long Jump event of Beijing Olympics 2008.
Dhalsim performing his master “sit” and reach
E.Honda‘s just plain cute!
Zangief in all WWE action.
Check out the awesome trailer from AOU 2oo8 Amusement Expo.
Find more screes at Famitsu (where they all came from) (^.^)

What sucks is that you can block the super powers >< But animations are great!
